Missing Tupelo K-9 Found Dead

TUPELO ( WCBI) – A sad ending to the search for a missing Tupelo K-9.

Tupelo Police say they located the body of Alec the K-9 Tuesday morning near the Auburn Mooreville area of Lee County.  Police say the 10 year old Belgian Malinois appears tohave been hit by a car.  Authorities had been searching for the dog since he slipped out of his kennell and escaped his handler’s backyard Sunday night
