Mississippi State To Host Arizona In This Week’s Super Regional

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Mississippi State found out Monday night that Arizona will be its opponent in the next round of the NCAA Baseball Tournament.

The Wildcats won 3-1 Monday at Louisiana Lafayette to advance to the Starkville Super Regional, which will begin either Friday or Saturday of this week. The dates and times are not set.

Mississippi State is participating in its sixth-ever super regional. It’s the second time MSU has hosted a super regional, the first was in 2007.
