MSU, South Alabama September 13th Game-Time Set

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI/MSU Athletics) – Game times are set for the first three games of the 2014 Mississippi State football season as the Bulldogs’ Sept. 13 kickoff at South Alabama will be televised live on ESPNews at 3 p.m. CT, it was announced Tuesday.

It will be MSU’s first trip to Mobile to face the Jaguars and just the second meeting between the two teams. The Bulldogs defeated USA 30-10 on Sept. 22, 2012 in Starkville.

MSU opens the season against Southern Miss on Aug. 30 in the newly renovated and expanded Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. The season-opener will be televised live at 6:30 p.m. CT on the new, national SEC Network.

A week later on Sept. 6, the Bulldogs welcome UAB to Starkville for a 1 p.m. CT kickoff on Fox Sports Net.
