Video: MSU Women’s Basketball Team Ranked 11th In Preseason Poll

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – The Mississippi State women’s basketball team won’t be the same underdog it was last year.

The Bulldogs were ranked No. 11 in the preseason AP poll, released Tuesday. MSU was selected to finish third in the SEC this season by conference media.

State finished third in the SEC last season and won 27 games. Both of those marks were a program-best. The Bulldogs were receiving votes (ranked outside the top 25) in last year’s preseason AP poll.
