North MS Memorial Day Events

(WCBI) — Well if you don’t have plans Monday, but still want to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, there are a number of events going on in North Mississippi.

Here are a few in the area:

At 9 a.m. Tupelo will host a Memorial Day Service at Veterans Memorial Park.

At 9:30 Winona will hold a ceremony at the Montgomery County Courthouse.

At 10 Calhoun City will have a program on the city square.

Bruce will follow at a 11 with a ceremony at their square.

Also at 11 Amory and Starkville will honor those who lost their life.

Amory’s will be at the Veterans Memorial Site on HWY 278.

Starkville’s will be at the courthouse on Main Street.

And at noon Grenada will honor fallen veterans on their square.
