Okolona business owner arrested for allegedly illegal drug sales

OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) – An Okolona business owner was arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs out of their shop.

Multiple agencies including North Mississippi Narcotics, Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office, and Okolona police arrested Assil Adbo Ediah.

Eidah was charged with trafficking of marijuana and trafficking of a Schedule III controlled substance.

Investigators conducted a search at United Discount Vape and Smoke Shop in Okolona, Eidah’s CBD business.

Agents tested samples of alleged CBD from the business and confirmed that it was in fact Marijuana THC-Delta 9, well over the state legal limit.

Investigators seized over seven pounds of marijuana, 11 bottles of Red ZaZa, 118 canisters of Nitrous Oxide, four Containers of THC Wax, and just over $34,000 from the store.
