Ole Miss Rises To 19th, Mississippi State Enters AP Poll

COLUMBUS, Miss (WCBI Sports) – Ole Miss jumped five spots to No. 19 in Sunday’s AP poll while Mississippi State cracked the top 25.

The Rebels’ move came after its 23-3 win Saturday against then No. 15 Texas A&M, which was knocked out of the top 25.

MSU came in at 25th after its 42-16 win Saturday over Kentucky.

Alabama was slotted at No. 7, LSU is the highest-ranked SEC team at No. 4.
