One Injured In Lowndes County Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- A car wreck in Lowndes County lands one person in the hospital.

Emergency crews were called to First Colony Drive off of Highway 69 shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Early indications are that the car ran off the road and hit a tree.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

One person was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
