One person indicted following a fraud investigation involving SNAP

MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – One person has been indicted following a fraud investigation involving SNAP.

Klisha Johnson of Marshall County was arrested in June after allegedly improperly receiving over $27,000 in benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Agent Hunter Walton with the Mississippi Department of Human Services Office of Inspector General’s Division of Investigation is investigating the case.

A court date has not been revealed at this time.
