Oxford Middle School No Longer On Lock-Down Following Threat

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Oxford Police have given the all clear after receiving notice of a potential threat to Oxford Middle School.

According to OPD, they were made aware of the threat around 8:20 this morning, November 9.

Oxford Middle School was placed under lock-down after the school resource officers notified administration.

The school and police department determined the threat was made outside of the Oxford School District.

After the situation was deemed safe, the lock-down was lifted around 9:20 a.m.
