Oxford Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — Oxford police are looking for an armed robbery suspect.

The incident happened around 6 p.m., Tuesday, at the Regions Bank on Jackson Avenue West.

The victim and a witness told investigators they were using the ATM, when a black man wearing a red bandana over his face approached them.

The suspect pulled a gun, and demanded money. The victim got money from the ATM and gave it to him.

The suspect then fled behind the bank.

Investigators say he also tried to rob someone else earlier.
