Oxford woman faces charge following baby’s death

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – An Oxford woman faced a charge in connection to the death of her baby.

Stephanie Henry, 31, was charged with Manslaughter – Culpable Negligence.

This past Sunday, police received a 911 call, from a home on Frontage Road for an unresponsive infant.

When officers arrived, they began CPR on the child until an EMS crew arrived.

The infant was later pronounced dead at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.

Henry’s bond was set at 250,000 on Monday.
