Oxford Woman Faces Two Forgery Counts

OXFORD (WCBI) – An Oxford woman faces two counts of uttering a forgery for passing forged checks at two different check cashing businesses.  22 year old Christina Diggs was picked up at her home when detectives gathered enough evidence to make the forgery case.

The case first came to light at the end of June when a check cashing company called with a suspicious check but officers could not determine absolutely the check was bad and did not arrest her that day.   Bond is set at $15,000.
