Pedestrian Killed

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A person is killed after being hit by a vehicle on a busy Tupelo street this morning.

Tupelo police say the crash happened six at East Main Street and Veterans Boulevard.

Investigators believe, 61-year-old Jimmy Fair, of Tupelo, was attempting to cross East Main and died at the scene.

The driver is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
