In-Person Absentee Voting Ends

AMORY, Miss.(WCBI) – Circuit clerk offices opened Saturday morning for people to cast absentee ballots for runoff elections.

The in-person absentee voting deadline was noon Saturday.

Absentee ballots that are returned by mail must be received by circuit clerk offices by        5:00pm Monday. Overseas and military voters have a deadline of 7:00 Tuesday to return their absentee ballots.

Democrat Mike Espy and Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith are competing in a statewide runoff for a U.S. Senate seat.

There are also runoffs for some judicial positions and for two special elections to fill seats in the Mississippi House of Representatives.
