Pilot Club hosts Safety Town event for children in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Louisville kids will be a little safer next time they go for a ride. The Pilot Club hosted a Safety Town event.

This is where Kindergarten through third graders learn the importance of wearing a helmet.

Wearing a helmet can prevent brain damage.

A number of first responders were there for the hands-on experience.

The Pilot Club of Louisville partners with the Department of Rehabilitation Services to ensure every student in Winston County receives a helmet.
