Police arrest man in Columbus on child sex crime charge

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police made a child sex crime arrest.

45-year-old Nathaniel Hayden was charged with sexual battery.

Investigators said the alleged victim is under the age of 12.

Public Information Officer Joe Dillon said no other details are being released at this time.

Hayden remains in jail.
