Police respond to ‘shots fired’ call at Oxford Chevron

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Oxford Police say a fight leads to gunfire, late this afternoon.

It happened at the Chevron gas station at 725 Molly Barr Road around 4 p.m.

Police say it was reported that two men were fighting, shots were fired and then they left the area.

Officers were quickly able to locate and take a suspect into the custody.

Police say they also found the weapon.

No one was injured.
