Prentiss County Files Series Of Charges

Prentiss County Investigators have arrested three individuals responsible for several thefts, burglaries and Arson that took place over the last several months. The Trio were indicted this past Grand Jury. The break came when Investigators received a tip concerning one of the Trio, Bradley Russell Wilson 33 of Brewer Street Booneville, indicating that he might be responsible for a recent burglary of a building Business), several auto burglaries and an arson of a vehicle. Then the next day the Itawamba County Sheriff’s ask if we would locate and pick up Wilson who was a suspect in a burglary in their county. Investigators went to arrest him on Brewer St in Booneville, they noticed items appeared to be similiar to items from our burglary and theft. The Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered much of the stolen property. Wilson was transported to Itawamba County. Since Wilson’s arrrest, Investigators have linked the other two suspects to an Arson of a Vehicle stolen at the time of the burglary as well as several other crimes that occurred both before and since the original burglary. Wilson is charged with Burglary of a Commerical Building, Several Counts of Auto Burglary, Grand Larceny of an Automobile, Grand Larceny, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He also faces and additional Grand Larceny Charge concerning the theft of a Motorcycle around 12/23/2015. Wilson was under supervision by the Mississippi Department of Corrections and has been revoked and returned to MDOC custody. The other two suspects are Michael Brandon Palmer 30 of CR 5008 Booneville and Josh Wilemon 25 of South Smith Street Booneville both of which have been indicted on Arson related to the Wilson Case. Palmer’s bond was set at $15,000 on the Arson and and unrelated Possession of Controlled Substance Violation but has subsequently returned to MDOC custody. Wilemon’s bond has been set at $100,000 for the Arson as well as Numerous other Felonies that occured both before and after the Arson Case, Including Felony Fleeing, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Multiple Burglaries, he remains in custody.
