REPORT: Penn State OC Joe Moorhead Expected to be New Head Coach at Mississippi State

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi State appears to have their new head football coach.

According to multiple reports, the Bulldogs are expected to hire Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead as their new head football coach.

Moorhead has spent the last two seasons as offensive coordinator of the Nittany Lions, leading an offense that is ranked in the top 20 in most major statistical categories.

Before Penn State, Moorhead was the head coach of his alma mater, Fordham University. He was 38-13 in his four seasons as head coach of the Rams.
