Richard Boyanton seeks U.S. Senate seat

HANCOCK COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)- Richard Boyanton announces his run against senator Roger Wicker for the U.S. Senate seat.

The Hancock County business owner is running as a Republican.

Boyanton says he’s running because he doesn’t like the way the country’s going.

He says his biggest concern is government spending and he wants to try and clean it up.

“At some point and time you can’t solve the national deficit without stopping adding to it first. You can’t plan to bring it down until you stopping adding to it,” said Boyanton.

Boyanton also says he wants to change senate term limits.
