Sale of Gilmore Memorial moves forward

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI)- North Mississippi Health Services is another step closer to owning the Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory.

On Tuesday, the bankruptcy court approved the order to sale the hospital to the NMHS.

NMHS was the only bidder on the Amory hospital.

The company put in a bid of $15 million.

NMHS will start to work with the staff and physicians at Gilmore preparing for the ownership transition which is set for January first of next year.
