Search on for shooter in Okolona, police give description

OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) – Okolona Police continue to look for an alleged shooter.

Assistant Police Chief Jermandy Jackson says a man allegedly shot into a vehicle with a woman and children inside. Luckily, no one was injured.

The shooting happened Saturday morning near the intersection of Highway 41 and 32.

Jackson says a witness saw the shooting happen before seeing the suspect get into his car and drive off.

Officers are looking for a black male, medium built, driving an ’05 to an ’09 black Charger with a Lee County tag.
