Search On For Suspect In Burger King Armed Robbery
COLUMBUS (WCBI) – Employees at a Columbus Burger King were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
Columbus Police Chief Oscar Lewis confirms the robbery of the 18th Avenue location took place about 9:40 pm.

Lewis says employees report a black male robbed the store, took an undisclosed amount of money.
He was not seen exiting the store.
Witnesses tell WCBI that the store employees were put in a back storeroom and threatened by the robber to remain in place for 20 minutes.
