Shannon Man Drowns On Alabama Coast

ORANGE BEACH, AL (WCBI) – A Lee County man is the victim of a Sunday drowning on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Orange Beach Police and Fire crews were called to investigate a possible drowning at around 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses say 33-year-old Dustin Wade Jacobs of Shannon was struggling in the water.

A friend tried to save him but while coming back to shore Jacobs went back under water.

Jacobs body was under water for an hour before his body was recovered by Orange Beach Police and Fire
