Shooting Investigation Underway In Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Tupelo police are investigating an afternoon shooting in the southeast part of the city.

It was around 3:30pm when officers were called to South Veterans Boulevard for shots fired.

Three victims were taken to North Mississippi Medical Center.

Detectives secured the scene, and were collecting evidence and talking with potential eyewitnesses.

Police are looking for a suspect, but no information has been released at this time.

Also, there was a heavy police presence at the hospital as a security precaution.

Information on the victims’ conditions have not been released.
