Smoke Reported Inside Downtown Building

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Columbus fire department was called to the Trotter Convention Center Tuesday night after smoke was reported inside the building.

A city spokesperson says an overheated air conditioning unit is to blame.

No damage was reported.

No one was inside the building at the time, and no one was hurt.
