Spruce It Up In Bruce

BRUCE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Town Of Bruce holds its first ever “Spruce It Up In Bruce” event. The event aims to showcase local businesses.

It was held in the town’s downtown square. Several locally owned businesses offered free demos.

Spruce It Up In Bruce was sponsored by the Bruce First Organization. Spokeswoman Ann King says an even like this has value.

“The purpose is for people to know what kind of business are in Bruce. It’s a small town but there’s so much variety here. We just want people to come and shop and see what we have to offer,” said King.

King says with the addition of Spruce It Up In Bruce in the spring, the town now has a downtown event for every season.
