Starkville kids get shopping spree
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year.’
Starkville police take a couple of kids on a shopping spree.
Jaleeiah Fearce, 9, and Zechariah Boyd, 7, each got $150 to buy toys, clothes, or anything else they wanted for Christmas.
Fearce says all she wanted was to get her baby sister something for Christmas.
For Boyd, toys were on his list.
“Hook Toys, Black Panther toys and hero toys,” said Boyd.
Officer Simon says he’s glad the department was able to do it.
“It’s incredible I’m enjoying take part of this opportunity, he’s full of energy and i’m excited,” said Officer Simon.
Michael Millis at State Farm organized this years shop with cop.
