Starkville Names New Athletic Director

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – A new Athletic Director is named for the Starkville Consolidated School District.

In a special called meeting this morning, December 4, the board announced Dr. Cheyenne Trussell as the new man in charge.

Trussell received his doctorate degree from Jackson State University.

He served as the assistant director of athletics for the Jackson Public School District from 1999-2002 and most recently served as Executive Director of Student services and Activities in Hattiesburg.

Trussell will be introduced during a press conference Wednesday at 2:15 at the High School Library.
