Starkville police make 2 arrests in weekend car theft
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville police made two arrests, which included a teenager, in a weekend car theft.
20-year-old Dennis Scales was charged with auto burglary, grand larceny, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A 15-year-old was also taken into custody after being found inside the stolen vehicle.
Investigators said the car was taken from an apartment complex on Old Highway 12 Sunday night. It was later found on Steadman Lane.
Officers also found stolen property from several auto burglaries.
More arrests are expected.
