Starkville police make 2 felony shoplifting arrests

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people were arrested in Starkville for allegedly trying to steal items from Lowes.

Robert Pelphrey and Willie Stafford, both from Columbus, were charged with felony shoplifting.

A witness called 911 and reported suspicious activity from the two in the hardware store parking lot.

The two were arrested in the Kroger parking lot shortly after.

The items stolen were returned and the incidents remained under investigation.
