Student Arrested After Bomb Threat
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Caledonia high school student is in jail after calling in a bomb threat. School officials say they quickly followed protocol ushering the students to the football field after the call came in around 10:00 Wednesday morning. The Lowndes County Sheriff’s department, the Caledonia Marshal’s and the FBI were all on scene within 30 minutes. Authorities quickly traced the call back to a student who was arrested a short time later. Because he is a minor the name of the student is not being released.
