Sunday crash leaves an Alabama man dead in Lowndes Co.
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An Alabama man is dead after a Sunday evening crash in Lowndes County.
Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant told WCBI that just before 6 pm on Sunday, Richard Wayne Humphreys was driving a Nissan Sentra Northeast in the 800 block of Steens-Vernon Road.
He collided head-on with a GMC Sierra pickup truck, which was travelling Southwest.
Humphreys died at the scene.
