PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A suspicious vehicle report led Prentiss County deputies to make a drug arrest.
Just after 1 a.m. Friday, the Sheriff’s Office was called to County Road 8021 after a resident reported a suspicious vehicle in the area.
The deputy found a woman there: Billie LaJean Agnew of Booneville.
Agnew was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
According to the sheriff’s office, Agnew was on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, but they have not placed a hold on her.
Agnew’s bond was set at $25,000.
