Teen faces multiple assault charges in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An 18-year-old is behind bars for an alleged shooting in Columbus.
According to the Columbus Police Department, officers got called to the area of 501 Brooks Road about an altercation and shots fired.
When officers arrived, they were told that the suspect shot at a vehicle as occupants were leaving the area.
Ricardo Cunningham, Jr. was later arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault.
Officials said more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
