Teen sentenced to 30 years for armed robbery & manslaughter

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A teenager will spend the next 30 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections for armed robbery and manslaughter.

Tomas Bradford was sentenced Monday for the charges in a 2016 armed robbery and murder.

Bradford pleaded guilty to armed robbery and a lesser charge, manslaughter, for his role in the March 2016 incident that left one man dead.

Bradford also faced charges in connection to the August 2017 shooting death of Deontay Rogers.

That shooting happened at the Brookeville Garden Apartments.

At the time of that shooting, the then 16-year-old Bradford was out on bond for the 2016 charges.

Bradford was also sentenced to pay all court costs.
