Three men plead guilty to narcotic offenses in Lee County
LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Three men plead guilty to serious narcotic offenses in Lee County this week.
According to the First Circuit District Attorney’s Office, 49-year-old Tellie Mairidith pled guilty to two charges of trafficking methamphetamine on Monday, August 24. Mairidith was sentenced to serve 40 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. 30 years are suspended, leaving 10 years to serve, followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
And 31-year-old Corintheis Cullins plead guilty to trafficking meth on Wednesday, August 26. He was also sentenced to serve 40 years in the custody of the MD-OC. 32 years are suspended, leaving 8 years to serve, followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
Officials said because Mairidith and Cuillins were both convicted of trafficking narcotics, they will be required to serve their entire sentence without the possibility of parole or early release.
The third man, 44-year-old Gregory Vincent Baker pled guilty to multiple charges of selling and possessing meth on Monday. Baker was sentenced to serve 60 years in the custody of MDOC. 35 years are suspended, leaving 25 years to serve, followed by 5 years of post-release supervision.
The District Attorney’s Office said they appreciate the continued dedication and work of the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.
