Traffic stop leads to drug charges in Lee Co.

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A traffic stop lands a Pontotoc man in the Lee County Jail on drug charges.

Thursday, Lee County Deputies working in the Shannon area pulled a car over.

During that traffic stop, they reportedly found that the driver, Christopher Tedford of Pontotoc, had meth in his possession.

Tedford was arrested and charged with Possession of a Schedule Two Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.

His bond was set at $25,000.
