Baldwyn Chamber Leader Named Main Street Manager Of Year

BALDWYN, Miss (WCBI) – Lori Tucker of Baldwyn is the winner of the top award from Main Street Mississippi.  Tucker picked up the Charles Beasley Award given to the Main Street Manager of the Year during Thursday’s annual Main Street Mississippi luncheon.

Under Tucker’s watch, Baldwyn is carving out a niche with a growing community theater and music scene which draws visitors from around the region in addition to annual festivals.  The Greater Starkville Development Partnership also picked awards for the Farm to Fork promotion and for The Mill development project.  The Sam Kaye Award for Business Design went to Briar Jones while R.G. Buxton was recognized for his volunteer efforts on behalf of the Aberdeen Main Street Association.
