Tupelo Man Extradited for Credit Card Fraud Charges

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A man suspected of literally skimming people out of their money, is returning to Tupelo to face charges.

Tupelo police officers brought Kevin B. Hernandez back Tuesday. Hernandez is charged with two counts of credit card fraud, and three counts of fraudulent use of a skimming device.

Skimmers are tools often used by thieves, to illegally obtain credit card information. He was captured in Louisiana, on an outstanding warrant, from Tupelo. Extradition was waived, and Hernandez was transported back.

Lee County Justice Court Judge, Chuck Hopkins, set bond at $50,000. More charges could be filed against Hernandez.
