Tupelo Police Searching For K-9
TUPELO ( PRESS RELEASE) – Tupelo Police K-9 Officer Alec is missing from his handler’s home. Alec was spotted free from his K-9 enclosure and backyard yesterday (Oct. 16, 2016) at approximately 7:30 pm. His handler was notified and immediately began a search of the area. K-9 handler also notified the Tupelo Police Department and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

ALEC
Alec is a 10 year old brown Belgian Malinois. While Alec is not overtly aggressive it is asked that if someone spots Alec to please contact Lee County E-911 and let a trained officer secure him. Alec was last seen in the Mooreville/Auburn area of Lee County.. At this time there is no evidence of foul play involving Alec’s release but anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of NE Mississippi at 1-800-773-TIPS (8477)
