Two injured in Columbus shooting; one in life-threatening condition
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left two people injured.
According to CPD, two men arrived to Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle with gunshot wounds on Sunday, September 20, around 9:05 p.m.
Investigators said they believe the shooting happened in the 1100 block of 11th Avenue South.
One victim had life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to another hospital for further treatment.
The second victim was treated and later released with non-life-threatening injuries.
