Two men caught setting stolen car on fire

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Prentiss County duo are facing charges after setting a car on fire.

After receiving a call of suspicious activity in a wooded area off County Road 7100, Prentiss County deputies found two suspects and a car on fire with a gas jug besides it.

Benjamin Yates, 51, of Dry Creek, is charged with Arson, Taking of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Weapon by Felon.

His bond was set at $30,000.

Tristan Michael, 23, of Booneville was charged with Arson and Taking of a Motor Vehicle.
