Two Oxford men caught trying to steal from storage unit facility

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – It might be the season of giving for most, but for two Oxford men it is apparently the season of taking.

Oxford police found Joseph Climer, 27, and Christopher Mooneyham, 27, with a truckful of wooden frames and plywood, they said doesn’t belong to them.

Video footage showed the men removing the wood from a management storage unit at Southern Storage.

Both men face four charges of commercial burglary. Their bond is set at $20,000 each.

Police are still investigating the crime and anyone with information is asked to contact Oxford PD at 662-232-2400 and ask for Detective Fortner.
