UPDATE- Auditor Details Case Against Prentiss County Court Clerk

BOONEVILLE (WCBI) – New details on the arrest of Prentiss County Justice Court Clerk Donna Inman.

State Auditor Stacy Pickering says Inman is charged with embezzlement for taking cash from her office.  Pickering says a routine audit of the office turned up a shortage in the Justice Court books.  That evidence was turned over to a Prentiss County grand jury which indicted Inman.   The auditor is seeking more than $6,300 in repayment . That includes the amount of money stolen, interest on that money and the cost of the investigation.   Inman has worked in the office since December 2003.
