UPDATE: Both suspects wanted in officer-involved shooting now in custody
COVINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – We have an update on the blue alert issued Monday in Mississippi: law enforcement has arrested both suspects wanted in the officer-involved shooting.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Cortavious Hobbs and Cortavion Hobbs were both arrested.
The shooting happened before 4 pm in Mount Olive in Covington County.
While referencing the incident on social media, Governor Tate Reeves said it happened during a traffic stop.
