UPDATE: Columbus police arrest suspect wanted in assault case
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A suspect wanted in a shooting is now in custody.
Columbus Police said 32-year-old Abreanna Cungious turned herself in this morning, August 17.
She was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
On August 8th, CPD said they got called to the 100 Block of Brown Street about a man who was shot.
The victim was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle and released later that night, officials said.
Cungious is awaiting bond in the Lowndes County Jail.
