Video: UPDATE – MHP Identifies Victim In Noxubee Fatal

MHP responded to a one vehicle MVA on MS 14 around 6:45 A.M., Monday morning, September 5th, 2016, near Brush Fork Road.

A grey 2005, Nissan Titan was traveling east towards Macon on MS 14. The Nissan veered off the left side of the highway, traveled down an embankment into a ditch at which time the Nissan struck a drain culvert, became airborne and then collided into several pine trees.
The driver of the Nissan, 53 year old Jimmie Foote of Columbus and passengers, 52 year old Lisa Foote of Columbus and 45 year old Rita Smith of Macon all sustained non-life threating injuries during the collision. The driver and both passengers were transported to BMH for further medical treatment.
49 year old Tommie Harris of Columbus died at the scene of the accident. Harris and Smith were rear seat passengers in the Nissan, both were ejected from the vehicle during the collision.
This accident remains under investigation by MHP.
