UPDATE – Missing Lee County Man Found Safe

LEE COUNTY (TUPELO)  The search is over for a missing Lee County Alzheimers patient.  Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson says 79 year old John Roper was located safely within the past hour near the area he was last seen Monday afternoon.

The search began when Roper was spotted at a store at the intersection of Birmingham Ridge and Beech Springs Road.  Johnson says more details on on how he was  found will be released later
